Mt High Ribs and Rails
So I headed up to Mt High after work last night to go mess around. Conditions were deep sugar on top of ice, and icey chunky snow... You can't expect much for night boarding around So Cal. I made a few runs and all felt pretty solid. I was starting my run off with front 50/50 on this single down rail. This is a trick I hate, especially, when the rail has a skinny, weird tweaked shape to it. For the most part, I had it on lock...until the sugar got the best of me. Mushy ollie that lead to an ugly lock on, that lead to sketchy slide, to slip, to bounce off my rib cage and throw me onto my back on the icey sugar. OUCH, knocked wind out and thought I broke a rib or two. Caught my breath, and headed back down to the car. Hurts to breathe deep or cough, pissed some blood and I am back to work. Hopefully nothing broken, I will give it a couple days. Lots of fun stuff up there to hit, just be careful... sometimes learning is pain!

DC Mountainous Laboratory
So we made it out to Utah Thursday night to meet up with the So Cal DC crew and some of their retailers. Woke up early Friday morning and got a tour of Skullcandy Offices, and then headed over to the DC Mtn Lab. We pull up to this amazing property and are welcomed in. To our surprise, the entire DC pro team was their for some meetings. So in addition to getting the priveledge of riding the lab, we got to kick back and hang with some of the best snowboarders in the world. We took a bunch of pictures and a little video for memories. Once I get it edited up, you will see the fun times we had. Special thanks to Doug Coger and his crew, DC and Skullcandy. AMAZING trip, great new friends, sore bodies, and Tony Romo.

Skullcandy Utah
SKULLCANDY teamed up with KAB Rails to create this monsterous jib feature for the CANYONS Resort. It is a realistic scaled up version of the Skullcandy Pipe and even plays music while you get your jib on. Keep an eye out for a SKDYtv piece shredding the pipe coming soon.
We are going to be riding here on Saturday, and definitely checking out the new feature.

Nomis-interpretation
The Brandbase team had some early appointments to show their new lines in Salt Lake City this past December. Mike from the shops and myself were able to get out there for some early riding and good times.
Found a few little powder stashes up at Snowbird, and got a little work done at the same time. Thanks again to Nomis and the Brandbase Team.
Blauer Bros kept up and made the best of the trip with us. Cheers!

There is a little place in Utah we were invited to go check out this week. DC Mtn lab. Kind of feels like we are headed to Willie Wonkas Chocolate Factory. Should be pretty awesome, great people and good times. I will let you know how it all goes.

Mammoth On Snow 2010 Pics
Headed up to Mammoth Tuesday night to the WWSRA On Snow Demo. Drove through a snow storm and made it to town around Midnight. Woke up early and got some awesome turns in. We rode all over Mammoth on Wednesday. From hiking the Hemlocks, to traversing over to Hole in the Wall. Perfect weather and good times indeed.
After a great day of riding Wednesday, we hit the hot tub for some rest and then got ready for a night on the town. Met up with the Nitro guys for dinner, shared some stories and laughs. Next, Wave Rave and Volcom teamed up to throw a pretty sweet time at the Wave Rave Shop. And our final stop was over at Whiskey Creek with 32 and Neff. I may have had 1 too many, because I woke up on top of my bed with my jacket and shoes still on. Great snowboarding and good friends, that is why I do this.
Superbowl Saturday
Last Saturday, Utility Board Shop/ UBSsnow.com teamed up with Mt high and some great sponsors to bring you a very cold and snowy Superbowl Saturday. The contest started as an open jam format to decide who would make which team. 22 riders made the final in which there were 11 Colts and 11 Saints. With variable weather conditions, the riders got creative and made the best of the street course Mt High set up. In the end, the Colts came away victorious. Speacial thanks to all of our sponsors: Burton, Volcom, 32 boots, Skullcandy, Red, Neff, Anenberg, Etnies, and Dakine. The gift bags for the winning team were packed, and the raffle had some great prizes too.

Mammoth On Snow Demo
Heading up to Mammoth tonight for the 2 day on snow demo. Happens annually and gives shop employees a chance to try out next years goods to help place the buy. A couple parties in town tomorrow night. Open house at Wave Rave with Volcom, and 32 boots having a shindig at Whiskey Creek! Good times

32 D-Cut Stomper
32 gave us some samples of a grip tape die cut 32 sticker. You can style out your deck without getting laughed at with a goofy stomp pad.
Mt Baldy Blizzard
Went up and rode Mt Baldy in Southern California. If you don't know, this is the place to be after a big storm. Steep runs, deep snow, old fashioned and a really good time.
